And the sky handed her a silver rose that had been carved out of the moon. Its petals were like mirrors – a reflection of all those heartfelt beliefs that somehow had been lost.

“Ouch!” she cried. “I don’t mean to sound ungrateful but you went to all the trouble of carving me a rose out of the moon and you decided to leave in all of its thorns?”

Sky replied “We wanted you to understand that in order to learn and grow, you may need to experience some anguish… but if you look deep within, that’s when you’ll be able to see all of its value and magic.

“Isn’t there a way to blossom without all of that?” she asked.

Sky spoke, “Unfortunately the birds and I haven’t figured that one out just yet. That being said, we can’t wait for you to eventually receive the Gold Rose. We think you’ll be ready for that in no time.”

“But that means more pain?” she asked.

“More beauty…” Sky whispered.
