“Come closer” she said. “Come closer” he said.

The sky that had melted into the sea down below asked, “Why are you leaving such a wide gap in between your two hearts?”

They answered, “Supposedly we have to fill our own before we can come closer.”

If only they knew that they would soon be appointed a new story and a new purpose. They would emerge from the deep blue waters to combine forces, becoming the moon when the sky was dark and the sun when the world needed warmth.
